Believe and You Will Get Pregnant?

You have to believe it to see it, is a popular mantra.

But if that were true, many Fertile Heart babies wouldn’t be here today.
Because belief is fickle. Tuesday we believe. Wednesday we don’t.

What really matters is how we show up—Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, every day.
What matters is whether we can act as if we believed.

I didn’t always believe what I was doing would bring me a child. But I was desperate enough to show up in a way I never had before.

That’s what the Fertile Heart practice is about—giving us tools for the days when belief disappears. The days when it feels like nothing we do can make a difference.

That’s when we need something to hold onto. That’s when we need a practice.

Belief comes and goes.

It’s the practice of showing up, again and again—clarifying what we truly long for, and acting from that place of clarity—that changes everything.

To wait for faith before we pray is to put the cart before the horse.
To wait for belief before taking action on our own behalf is just as backward.
Sometimes, it’s the very act of showing up that creates belief.

The workshop yesterday helped me strengthen my ability to recognize the orphan. To pause and really tap into my ability to uncover my truth. I love it when you said, my job as a visionary is to be present for the orphans, receive my orphan with the utmost compassion and then take the next visionary rooted step in the direction of my desire. It is something I am learning slowly and yesterday I realized it is something that I may have to learn over and over again. Especially when I rush through life and am not recognizing what is guiding me.

I also am amazed that when I look back to that little voice that had me sign up last minute, it was my visionary. I can’t help but think my orphans were loudly convincing me to skip the workshop, while my quietly confident visionary self had me take action; an action that was exactly what I needed.

I’m looking forward to joining the next visionary circle.

Happy to be a humble co-creator. – L.P.
