Fertile Heart Success Stories
Stories are medicine. If you’re prepping for your next IVF. Or maybe you want to hear from women who welcomed a natural conception after one or more failed IVF’s? Or do you just need a break from it all and need a lens- shift? A completely new way of engaging with this uninvited guest some people misleadingly call “infertility.” Whatever you’re looking for, maybe a little deeper breath right now is the gift your unborn child wants to give you at this very moment. Can you receive it?
Above all, the stories on this page are here to remind you who you are: a fluid, changeable, infinitely fertile holy human being!
Purani Palaniswami is a medical doctor who conceived naturally at 42 after 5 failed IVF cycles — including one where her body had zero response to the medication. She found Fertile Heart in a moment of despair, joined the Visionaries Circles, and Julia’s workshop. The natural pregnancy came two weeks before her next session with Julia. “After 5 IVFs, we ended up getting pregnant naturally. I want to shout my story from the rooftops.” Read Purani’s full story →
Natural Pregnancy after Failed IVF
For many women in this community, IVF was the road they tried first — sometimes once, sometimes many times. These are the stories of couples who kept going after treatments failed, found the Fertile Heart work, and conceived without further medical intervention.
Unexplained Infertility
‘Unexplained’ is one of the most disorienting diagnoses in fertility medicine — nothing is visibly wrong, yet pregnancy isn’t happening. These stories come from women who stopped looking for an external explanation and turned their attention inward, often finding answers that tests couldn’t measure.
IVF Success
Not every Fertile Heart journey ends in natural conception, and that’s never been the point. These stories are from women who pursued IVF alongside the OVUM practice — and found that the mind-body work made a measurable difference in both their results and their experience of the process.
Since 1997, Julia Indichova and the Fertile Heart community have supported thousands of women and couples navigating infertility, failed IVF cycles, high FSH, low AMH, PCOS, unexplained infertility, and pregnancy after 40.
The stories collected here are theirs, told in their own words. You’ll find women who were told natural conception was no longer an option — and went on to conceive naturally. Couples who found a way through egg donation or adoption that felt right for them. Women in their early 40s who had quietly given up hope and then, unexpectedly, didn’t need to.
What they have in common isn’t a diagnosis or an outcome. It’s the willingness to go deeper — into the body, the emotions, and the beliefs that shape both. Browse by your situation or start wherever you feel drawn.
Low AMH Success
A low AMH reading is frequently presented as a ceiling on possibility. These women were told their ovarian reserve was too diminished to expect much — and then their bodies told a different story. Some conceived naturally; others succeeded with IVF after previous failures.
High FSH Success
An elevated FSH level often prompts doctors to recommend donor eggs and close the door on natural conception. Tracy came to Fertile Heart with FSH of 46 at 38 years old, told IVF wouldn’t even be worth trying. These stories belong to women who heard similar things — and kept going anyway.
Over 40 Success
Age is the number most fertility clinics lead with. These stories are from women who conceived in their 40s — some naturally, some with assistance — after being told the odds were not in their favor. What changed wasn’t their age. It was something harder to measure and more important.
Overcoming PCOS
PCOS affects ovulation in ways that make conception unpredictable, and standard medical advice often feels like a loop with no exit. These women found that addressing the hormonal picture was only part of what needed attention.
Egg Donation Success
Choosing egg donation is its own journey, with its own grief and its own grace. These stories are from women who found that the Fertile Heart work was as essential to navigating that path as it was to any other.
Birthing Through Adoption
For some, the journey to parenthood leads somewhere unexpected and exactly right. These stories are from families who found their child through adoption — and used the OVUM tools to prepare themselves for that particular road.
