Unexplained Infertility Success Story:

Natural Pregnancy after 15 Failed Fertility Treatments

Unexplained Infertility – Conceive the Possibility

Among the unexplained infertility success stories in the Fertile Heart community, this is perhaps the most dramatic example of what becomes possible when we fully engage with our practice, or as Gen puts it, give it 110%.

After 7 Years of Unexplained Infertility, 6 failed IUI’s 5 failed IVF’s, 4 cancelled IVF’s Gen’s baby girl showed up at a perfect time!

They said I should strongly consider egg donation

I have not been on the Fertile Heart website for many months, but felt compelled to share my story of hope.  I came to  Julia’s website just over a year ago with 6 failed IUIs, 5 failed IVF cycles, and 4 more cancelled IVF attempts.  I had been trying to have a child for over 6 years and went through every fertility medical route possible.  I was 40 years old and was being told by some of the best doctors in the field that I needed to strongly consider donor eggs.

Skeptical but I exhausted the medical route

My heart was broken from all the cycles of hope, followed by disappointment, and I felt in deep despair.  I could not endure putting my body or my heart through another IVF cycle.  In robotically searching the web for some sort of hope, I came across Fertile Heart.  To be honest, I was a bit skeptical, but I had exhausted the medical route and thought a break to do something good for my body and mind was what I needed right then.

After thoroughly reading every page of Fertile Heart, I decided to go for it.  I loved her saying that at a minimum I’d be getting myself into the best health possible. I bought both her books, Inconceivable and The Fertile Female,  and signed up for her workshop.  That was in November.

I decided to go for it and it changed me

The workshop was amazing.  Again, a bit skeptical as we first drove up, but the whole experience really changed me.  I left feeling a huge weight lifted off of me and a positive energy of hope I hadn’t felt in a long time.  At the same time, I was doing everything I could to improve my physical health.  I gave up caffeine, alcohol, dairy, meat (still ate lots of seafood), and wheat/gluten.  I also started juicing every day and getting wheat grass shots at my local Whole Foods 3-4x a week.  I addition, I signed up for the Fertile Heart Teleconferences and did my Fertile Heart Imagery twice a day.  I figured if I was going to do this program, I was going to put 110% of myself into it.

Some days easier, some days tougher but it worked

Some days were not as easy as others. When I felt I wasn’t connecting in my visualizations, Julia suggested sketching after my imagery, which was very powerful for me.  Sometimes I’d surprise myself when I’d just let myself draw what came to mind.  I also took an art class to get connected with a side of me that had been long neglected.

And doing all of this worked!! I started eating healthy and using the Fertile Heart tools in November, attended the workshop in December and was pregnant by the end of that month!  Unfortunately I miscarried in January, but felt like something was working.  I continued putting 110% into the program and by April I was pregnant again…and this time I carried to term!!  I now have a beautiful baby girl. My husband cleaned off a wishbone from a chicken the other night and asked what I was going to wish for.  I had no idea…for the past seven years I had one and only one wish and it came true!!  I couldn’t be happier and hope that my story inspires those of you that there is hope.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Julia – for the wonderful work you do with Fertile Heart and the lives you touch with your fertility program!!  I’ll  send you a New Year’s card with some pictures of our little girl.
